Windows XP-->Windows7: access to Windows 2000 server
Hi all, I have an old windows xp computer that is connected to a windows 2000 server. I used Laplink PCMove to migrate all the files from the xp computer to a brand new win7 computer including all the network connections(pretty much an exact image on a new win7 pc. Now the old xp would connect to the win2000 server by clicking on it in 'my computer' it would load the login screen with the username already inputted(no password needed as there isn't one) and pressing ok. When I try to connect the win7 pc to the win2000 server it says please enter a login(already there, same as the one in windowsxp pc) and password. The problem is there does not exist a password. I would leave the password field blank on the xp pc when connecting and I try to do the same on the Windows7 pc but it does not connect at all. Any help on resolving this problem? Thanks!

Create a password. Windows 7 will not allow network access without a password.
